About
Clive Moore is a designer, artist and educator who uses maths, geometry and handmade kirigami techniques to explore the phenomenology of making, repetition and space.
The exhibition in the MC Gallery at the University of Wolverhampton ‘Cut, fold, pleat, repeat…’ (12.01.24 to 04.03.24) brings together work that experiments with cutting and folding techniques to explore the perception of space found in the complex relationships that link people, objects and environments. A range of themes are investigated using photography and non-representational geometric compositions. This approach helps free the mind to consider abstract possibilities of the medium without the restrictions associated with attempting to accurately imitate the external world.
Work in the exhibition is available for sale, please email (below) for further information.
